25th March 2011 at Eling Tide Mill

The March Bird Watch took place at Eling Marsh and Goatee Beach. 7 members enjoyed a fine spring morning, and saw 24 species of birds. The highlights were, Jay, Curlew, Redshank, and we heard a Green Woodpecker calling. We also saw a bank of Primroses and pinky white Violets in Eling Cemetery.
The April meeting is cancelled as the walking holiday and the Royal Wedding clash.
the May meeting will be on Friday 27th. Meet at the Black Water car park at 10am.
