May bird watch at Ashlett Creek

Ashlett Creek 29/05/09

Twelve of us gathered for a sunny warm walk, of mixed woodland and glades, ending with a stretch beside the shore.
We could hear a number of birds but many of them did not show. I think the total was about 25 species.
The nightingale being the prize.
Butterflies and flowers also had some attention.
