Nature Watch notes June 26th Rhinefields
The walk was attended by nine members on what turned out to be a very pleasant morning,
sun was shining and plenty to see and do.
The walk was preceded by a binocular cleaning session with Stewart, although this did not help as we
only saw a few birds , but we heard a lot.
Not long after starting the walk we found a blue beetle on the path , which nobody could identify,
we need a resident entomologist.
The walk took us through the Arboretum, luckily most of the trees were named, then along the
Tall Trees walk where we saw the carved information signs. The next Nature Watch walk will be at Boltons Bench Friday 31st July 10am.
Meet in the car park near the cricket pavilion.
