28th October Itchen Navigation

The October Bird/nature walk took place on a bright and sunny morning. Four of us tried to walk along the Itchen Navigation but I think we did not choose the best place. There was a great deal of noise from the planes and the motorway.
We saw a few birds in the sunshine and noted a number of plants. II species of birds and 6 or 7 plants identified. The highlight was a Red admiral butterfly which was photographed.

The November meeting is cancelled. The venue for the December meeting will be announced at the December monthly meeting at Eling.
